Yes it is when we are obedient. I don't always obey the Lord. but when I do there is no greater Joy.
The greatest delight in my life is when I do unto others as Jesus has done to me such as when I survey his mercies and then I learn to put into practice that same mercy to others and I recognize it's all because of Jesus that I did this and he gets all the glory and honor. That's the most profound purpose and meaning that fills me up right there with this surge and leap that makes me spring to life and cheer for the Lord of why he truly created me. why I don't continue to segue, I don't know. Must be these stinking sinful bodies.
It's just like that song says "Trust and obey for there's no other way to be happy in Jesus than to trust and obey"
Amen, this is why we must understand that His perfect righteousness is imputed to us. It is not possible to live in perfect obedience in this life, although we strive to. If God did not impute His Son's perfect obedience and righteousness to those He saves, we would be still trying to keep the law, which is impossible.
