So much confusion on this issue.

I'll just say, even though the trib will be trouble like the world has never seen before, there is no reason to believe that it won't be real bad right up to that point.

That is, far, far worse than it is today.
Of course the saints in Orissa State know what real suffering is, but do we in America?

I think if the rapture came today, there would be a whole lot of terribly shocked people in America, and a lot of missing people in China.

Anyway, I for one am determined to be found working when it does come, and not staring up to the heavens with a mess all around my feet.

I know to look for redemption, when there is something to be redeemed from. Blessed hope, when?
When we are confortable in our peaceful homes?
Or blessed hope in the midst of persecution and trial?

No, not like the wrath of the trib, but as the saints are now being tested in India, China, North Korea etc.

You are right Daniel, there is much confusion and debate on this issue. I do believe persecution is coming to America, and many will not be able to persevere. This persecution will separate the sheep from the goats, and the goats will turn on the sheep. American Christianity has no clue what suffering persecution for the sake of Christ is like.
We need to be about our Father's business, and be in continual fervent prayer. There isn't time to sit around and look heavenward, waiting for the ticket out. I do believe many have that mentality, believing they will escape any form of persecution. Not so. I also believe the rapture will occur soon, but no one can say for certain when. In the meantime, let us look at the 'catching away' as an encouragement, yet with a sense of urgency to proclaim the Gospel to lost sinners, and praying for lost loved ones while there is time.
